능호관 이인상

강직한 성격으로 알려진 그는 서얼 출신으로 출세에 제약이 있어 참봉과 현감 등 낮은 벼슬을 지낸 뒤 은거하는 삶을 택한다. 참봉과 현감은 각각 종9품과 종6품에 해당하는 지방 관리로 세종 임금의 자손이자 3대에 걸쳐 정2품 대제학을 배출한 가문의 후손으로는 매우 낮은 관직이다.

친우

담화재 이윤영과 친분이 깊었다. 이윤영은 고려 후기 대사성을 지내고 태조 이성계와 대치관계였던 이색의 후손으로 그 역시 강직한 성격을 지녔다고 알려졌다. 벼슬보다 풍류를 즐기는 삶을 보냈다고 전해진다.

관폭도

시원하게 물이 쏟아져 내리는 폭포와 이를 둘러싼 바위, 소나무 절경을 화폭에 담은 관폭도는 선비들의 주된 그림 소재가 됐다.

부채

옛 선조는 무더운 여름 열기를 식히는 목적으로 부채를 애용했고 교우관계가 깊은 친구에게 선물하곤 했다. 이 과정에서 사군자나 자연경관을 묘사한 그림이 화폭에 담겼다.
